Our Story: Born in LA
Being from LA, we’ve seen the street food scene dominated by bacon-wrapped hot dogs at every event and outside every club. But not everyone wants a bacon-wrapped hot dog. They want something just as convenient but far more delicious.
This is how Build-A-Bite Bar was born, offering a fresh alternative to the usual street food fare.
In LA, tamales and chili Fritos are staples, especially around the holidays and in certain neighborhoods. Inspired by the “tamale man” and the ice cream truck selling chili cheese Fritos, we wanted to create something that offers that same satisfying, salty bite with a twist—an elevated nod to the comfort foods we love in LA, but with more variety and flavor.
